the art of stresslessness![]() Stress Management Sessions The Stress management sessions will focus on how stress affects us in our personal and professional life, and teaches effective stress management techniques and self-care. Through practical self-tests, clients will assess what causes them stress, how to recognize the psychological and physiological signs of stress, their competency in managing stress, and whether their personality type is prone to stress. The sessions will also focus on identifying sources of work-related stress, ways of coping with stress on the job and reducing environmental stress, as well as looking at stress within relationships. In addition to practical information and self-assessments, the use of cognitive-behavioral stress management techniques, visualization and relaxation exercises will be explored as effective stress and anxiety reducing techniques. All sessions on Norfolk Island are conducted by Angela Donde, a recognised specialist in stress management. Background: Angela Donde Angela Donde is a licensed and registered psychologist, and lecturer, who has been teaching stress management techniques, as well as providing counselling for the Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE for many years. In addition, she is a clinical psychologist in private practice, both in Norfolk Island and Melbourne.
